Aetos Systems, Inc. was founded in early 2007 for the purpose of bringing innovation to market to solve real world business problems for our Government and Commercial customers. We are a products and services company with capabilities in Information Technology, Materials Acquisition/Logistics, Business Management Solutions, Modeling & Simulation/Engineering Services and Energy Management/Utility Control systems. Through building additional services around the technology in order to create full business solutions, and identifying targeted customers to solve specific business problems, Aetos can open new client opportunities for itself and its partner companies.
Aetos founder, Donna Coleman, is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years experience in the fields of Information Technology and Engineering Services for both commercial and federal customers, and has a vision for bringing technology to market. Donna has a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University and has held a number of leadership positions within her community, including the 2009 Huntsville Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class 22 and serving on the Board of Directors for several local non-profit organizations. In 2009, Aetos Systems was the recipient of the “ WBCNA Start-up of the Year” award presented by the Women’s Business Center of North Alabama.
Ms. Coleman’s vision for Aetos is — To Be Servant Leaders, Translating the Vision into Reality to bring about Large-Scale and Lasting Change. We wish to Serve First — Serving our Customers, our Employees, and our Community.
In addition to bringing innovation to our customers, we also wish to bring this same expertise to help support our community. Aetos is committed to the success of its surrounding community and runs a community outreach program called ProjectTREE. ProjectTREE, which stands forTechnology Recycling for Excellence in Education, is focused on leveraging existing sources of surplus and legacy computer equipment to build computer labs in schools at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.
