Aetos Systems, Inc. was founded in early 2007 for the purpose of bringing innovation to market to solve real world business problems. Aetos founder, Donna Coleman, is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years experience in the fields of IT and Systems Engineering for both commercial and federal customers, and has a vision for bringing novel technology to market.
Before founding Aetos, Ms. Coleman most recently served in an executive position for a large government research and development, engineering services firm assisting small businesses in how to market their capabilities to both prime contractors and government agencies. During this time, she identified a key discriminating factor among many technology based companies with which she met. Early stage technology companies faced challenges in bringing their technology to market successfully while at the same time operating with scarce resources like money and talent. Each company came with innovative technology, however, resource limitations and the need for getting to the market quickly made technology commercialization exceptionally challenging.
Seeing an innovation used to solve real problems for real customers is, and has always been, a thrill for Ms. Coleman. As a result, Ms. Coleman founded Aetos to assist its partner companies in the commercialization of new technology. Through building additional services around the technology in order to create full business solutions, and identifying targeted customers to solve specific business problems, Aetos can open new client opportunities for itself and its partner companies.
Aetos will couple industry relationships and knowledge of government contracting to identify customers with common characteristics and optimize marketing efforts that target niche market opportunities. Aetos is focused on being an industry leader in transforming technology into innovative indispensible solutions for its government and commercial clients.
